Athletic Training

Athletic Training Program

Our licensed athletic trainers provide prevention, evaluation and treatment services at area schools, including Watertown High School, Luther Preparatory School and Lake Mills High School. We hold regular education sessions for local coaches and parents and publish a handy Guide to Sports Medicine resource treatments.

Meet our Athletic Trainers

Aimee Krysiak, MHEA, LAT, ATC
Watertown High School Athletic Trainer

Aimee is a Licensed and Board Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating from North Park University with her Master’s in Higher Education and Administration in 2017 and prior to that, UW- Oshkosh with her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training in 2014. She is currently the head Athletic Trainer at Watertown High School.  Her favorite part of the job is working with athletes from their initial injury and transitioning them back into full participation. Aimee holds three certificates from North Park University including: Nonprofit Management, Higher Education and Administration, and Health Care Management.  She is also certified in Myofascial decompression.  She is also a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA). 

In her free time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, and being outside as much as possible.

 


Madelyn Jones, LAT, ATC
Lake Mills High School Athletic Trainer

Maddy is a Licensed and Board Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training in 2018. She is currently the head Athletic Trainer at Lake Mills High School. Her favorite part about her job is educating student athletes about their injuries, advocating for the wellness, and sharing their passion for athletics. 

Maddy is certified in the Graston Technique, an instrument-assisted treatment for musculotendinous injuries. She is also a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA).


Noah Eckl, LAT, CSCS
Luther Prep Athletic Trainer

Noah is a Licensed and Board Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating in 2000 from UW-Milwaukee. Noah is the head Athletic Trainer at Luther Preparatory School as well as one of the clinical Athletic Trainers practicing at the Trek Integrative Health Center located at Trek World Headquarters in Waterloo.  He performs evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries in athletes and active people of all ages; proper management of concussions from onset to return to work, school, and sport; and brace or crutch fitting.

He also focuses on preventative maintenance care for chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes, and athletic performance improvement through speed, agility, and conditioning clinics.  Noah also holds a dual certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an Approved Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training Education Program at UW-Milwaukee.  He is member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

In his free time, Noah enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, fishing, and leading an active lifestyle.


Jonathon Kuhn, LAT, PES
Athletic Trainer

Jonathon is a Licensed and Board Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating in 2000 from UW-Oshkosh with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Jonathan fills in as an athletic trainer at area schools and works in the orthopedic clinic as a scribe for Dr. Roman. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He has a particular interest in strength and conditioning and is certified as a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Jonathan has clinical interests in ACL rehabilitation, shoulder rehabilitation, and concussion management.  In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys golfing, strength training, watching sports, and spending time with his wife and two children.
