What is your official Title?
I am a Certified Nursing Assistant & Clinical Support in Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
How long have you been at Watertown Regional Medical Center? Have you always been in the same position?
I've been in the same position and at the same clinic for all five years I've worked at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
What do you enjoy most about working at Watertown Regional Medical Center?
The people I work with. We have such a great team in Ortho, it's our own little family. This place and these people have pushed me into going back to school and getting my nursing degree. I am forever thankful for the relationships I've made here.
What was your inspiration for getting into healthcare?
I was always drawn toward helping people so I started working in healthcare when I was 17 years old. I love how rewarding it is and getting to help new people every day.
What would you say to somebody wanting to get into your profession?
Don't let the tough days get you down. Every single thing you do for someone, no matter how small it may seem really does help.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love spending time with my husband, 3 kids and my dog. Since I'm currently in school, I don't have a lot of free-time. When I do find some, I love reading and traveling wherever and whenever I can.
What is your favorite place in the Watertown area?
I enjoy the drink options at Latte' Donatte', shopping at Chic Boutique, the wonderful options at Kraemer's Cheese and when it's nice out, visiting the farmer's market.
Why do you believe patients can Count on Watertown Regional Medical Center for quality care?
Watertown Regional Medical Center can provide high-quality care in a small community without having to travel to bigger cities. When you come to WRMC, you won't be treated as "just a number", we work to get to know you and care for you like family.
What is one thing you’re doing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19?
I am more concious about hand-washing and maintaining my distance in public spaces.
