WHY MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID?
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to (1) recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health challenge, (2) listen nonjudgmentally, (3) give reassurance to a person who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and (4) refer a person to appropriate professional support and services.
COURSE INFORMATION
This course is offered at no cost to you through a partnership between Madison College and Watertown Regional Medical Center. There will be three sessions offered in 2025. The course will be held at the Madison College Watertown Campus. Sign up is currently available for the May session!
- Session 1: May 15th and 16th (8am-12pm both days)
- Session 2: July 22nd and 23rd (8am-12pm both days)
- Session 3: October 15th and 16th (8am-12pm both days)
