WRMC to Provide Health Insurance Marketplace Enrollment Support

Watertown Regional Medical Center (WRMC) will provide resources for individuals enrolling in health insurance through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace this year.  Beginning November 1st, certified staff will be available on-site, as well as via phone and email, to help individuals find a healthcare coverage option through the Marketplace that fits their needs and budget.

“We have staff who are specially trained and certified to help individuals understand the different types and levels of coverage, as well as the financial assistance that may be available to them,” said Jim Kluge, Director of Patient Accounting at WRMC.  “They are prepared to help people navigate the process of enrolling, re-enrolling or making changes in their coverage.”

From Nov. 1, 2017 through December 15, 2017, the Health Insurance Marketplace will allow individuals to shop and compare insurance plans offered in 2017.  During this period, individuals and families will have an opportunity to enroll in affordable, comprehensive healthcare coverage that best meets their needs.
