Reserve Your Spot in Line at Urgent Care
July 27, 2018
Patients can’t skip the wait, but they can now skip the waiting room. At Watertown Regional Medical Center’s Urgent Care patients can check-in and reserve a spot in line. Wait for the scheduled time to see the provider in the comfort of their home, office or where ever they are. It also features the current wait time for walk-ins.
After a reservation is made, patients will receive a reminder text message 30 minutes before the scheduled time. If a provider is behind, they will also receive a notification.
Patients can reserve a spot same-day. Once they pick a time, Urgent Care gets a notification and the patient wait time is automatically updated.
“A simple text reminder not only helps manage patient’s expectations, it gives them the information they desire, says Urgent Care Manager Leanne Seifert. “We believe this technology is what our community is looking for to access urgent care at a time that is convenient for them”
