Orthopedic Joint Replacement Specialist Joins WRMC
September 4, 2018
Watertown Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Orthopedic Surgeon & Joint Replacement Specialist, Dr. Jason Habeck has joined Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Watertown. He will begin seeing patients on September 4, 2018.
Dr. Habeck received his Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison and completed his residency at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He recently completed an Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee Replacement) Fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa. He performed over 600 joint replacements during his fellowship training.
“I have always been very active in sports, so I was naturally drawn to orthopedics,” says Dr. Habeck. “I truly enjoy helping people get back to their active lifestyle. Joint replacement has the most life changing results and an absolutely huge impact on quality of life.” Of course, less-invasive options are explored prior to any surgery. “My philosophy is to give patients options and guide them through the entire treatment process.”
Common conditions Dr. Habeck treats includes hip and knee pain, arthritis, trauma, fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, and trigger finger.
Dr. Habeck and his family recently relocated to Watertown and when he isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. His hobbies include ice hockey and golf. A native of Wisconsin, he is also a loyal Packers fan.
