New Primary Care Provider to Join Lake Mills and Johnson Creek Clinics

July 31, 2018 – Watertown Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Dr. Whitney Van Reesen has joined Watertown Regional Medical Center’s Lake Mills and Johnson Creek Clinics and will begin seeing patients on September 4, 2018.
A Family Medicine physician that provides care for entire families, Dr. Van Reesen strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based and individualized care to every patient. She aims to educate her patients and their families so that they can make well-informed healthcare decisions and be healthy and happy.
Family medicine is a medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. It encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity.
Dr. Van Reesen received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Waukesha Family Medicine Residency Program, where she stayed on to complete a public health fellowship and serve as a Junior Faculty member. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with honors from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and recently completed a Masters of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Van Reesen was recently married, and she and her husband Zak just bought and moved into their first home in Lake Mills. They enjoy biking, canoeing and travel. She is also fluent in Spanish.
