Center for Eye Care Welcomes Ophthalmologist and Cornea Specialist
August 7, 2018
Watertown Regional Medical Center and the Center for Eye Care are pleased to announce the addition of Ophthalmologist and Cornea Specialist, Dr. Susie Drake. She will begin seeing patients in Watertown and Johnson Creek on September 11, 2018.
Dr. Drake earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. Dr. Drake completed a Cornea fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
The addition of Dr. Drake means patients no longer need to travel to Milwaukee or Madison for specialized, cornea eye care. She delivers the highest quality care for a wide spectrum of cornea and anterior segment diseases, including cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and other procedures. Common eye conditions she treats include degenerative corneal diseases, dry eye syndrome, herpetic keratitis, external eye diseases, among many others.
“We are thrilled to be able to provide this type of specialty service to our community, says Center for Eye Care Ophthalmologist Dr. Andrew Boush. “This type of service isn’t offered anywhere locally and offering specialty care that doesn’t require driving into a big city is crucial for our patients and their families.”
Conveniently located in Watertown and Johnson Creek, Dr. Drake is accepting new patients. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call the Center for Eye Care at 920-261-8225.
