Watertown, WI – Watertown Regional Medical Center (WRMC) is proud to announce the addition of a new group of Urology specialists who will begin seeing patients at their Urology Clinic on October 1. The expansion significantly enhances urological care for patients across Dodge and Jefferson Counties by bringing more providers, advanced surgical options, and 24/7 coverage through the Emergency Department.

Urologists are specialists who diagnose and treat conditions of the urinary tract in both men and women, as well as disorders of the male reproductive system. This includes care for issues such as bladder problems, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, prostate health, and cancers of the urinary system.

The new group includes physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners offering comprehensive services such as bladder health, cancer screening, kidney care, urinary health, and men’s and women’s specific urological care. Patients will also have access to robotic-assisted surgery, providing less invasive treatment options and faster recovery times.

“This is a major step forward in keeping high-quality specialty care close to home for our patients,” said Gina Novotny, Executive Director of Physician Services at WRMC. “By adding more providers, advanced procedures, and round-the-clock emergency coverage, we’re ensuring our community doesn’t have to travel far to receive the expert care they deserve.”

The Urology Clinic, conveniently located in the medical office building at 123 Hospital Drive in Watertown, will now be staffed on a rotating basis by a team of physicians including Dr. Jon J. Auger, Dr. Brian P. Butler, Dr. Samuel W. Engelsgjerd, Dr. Charles F. Kidd, Dr. Mark A. Milleman, Dr. Dustin A. Pagoria, and Dr. Greg N. Womack. They are joined by advanced practice providers Ashley Conner, APNP; Laura Krol, APNP; David Papermaster, PA-C; Elizabeth Stassi, PA-C; and McKenna Vento, PA-C.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing expanded urology care to Dodge and Jefferson Counties,” said Dr. Brian P. Butler, one of the physicians joining the clinic. “Our goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care right here in the community, so patients don’t have to travel to receive the services they need.”

This transition also comes as longtime WRMC Urologist Dr. Ronald Sokovich prepares to retire at the end of the year.

“We are sincerely grateful for the many years of dedicated, compassionate care Dr. Sokovich has provided to patients in our community,” Novotny added. “We wish him the very best in his well-deserved retirement.”

Patients interested in scheduling an appointment should talk to their primary or specialty care provider about a referral or contact the Urology Clinic directly at 920.261.1334. More information can be found by visiting WatertownRegional.com/urology.
