Watertown Regional Medical Center Expands Access to Pulmonology Care with Addition of Cailee Petersen

Watertown Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Cailee Petersen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, to its Pulmonology team, expanding access to specialized respiratory care for patients in the Watertown area. Petersen provides compassionate, evidence-based care for a wide range of respiratory conditions, with a special interest in obstructive sleep apnea. She is passionate about helping patients understand the connection between respiratory health, quality sleep, and overall well-being while developing personalized treatment plans that improve health and quality of life.

“Cailee brings a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping people better understand and manage their sleep and respiratory health,” said Gina Novotny, Executive Director of Physician Services. “Her focus on education, collaboration, and individualized treatment makes her a great addition to our Pulmonology team.”

Petersen believes effective care begins with listening to patients and understanding their individual needs and challenges. She emphasizes patient education and shared decision-making, partnering with patients to help them make informed decisions and achieve their health goals.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to care for patients in Watertown,” said Petersen. “I enjoy getting to know my patients, helping them understand their conditions, and working together to find treatment strategies that fit their lives.”

The Pulmonology Clinic at Watertown Regional Medical Center is located in the medical office building attached to the hospital and includes Dr. Florin Stuleanu, Dr. Matthew Mathai, Dr. Paul Lisi, and Dr. Arturo Eyzaguirre in addition to Cailee Petersen. The team cares for a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, respiratory failure, and sleep disorders, including sleep apnea.
