Watertown Regional Medical Center Honors Physical Therapist Sydney Nass with BEE Award

WATERTOWN, WI – Watertown Regional Medical Center recently honored Sydney Nass, Physical Therapist, with its BEE Award for going Beyond Exceptional Expectations in providing compassionate, skilled care to a patient during his recovery.
The BEE Award, a companion to WRMC’s DAISY Award, recognizes non-nursing team members who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the experience of patients, families and colleagues.
Nass was nominated by Dr. Michael Grajewski, a retired Watertown primary care physician, who experienced her care firsthand while recovering from a severe neck injury and extensive surgery. During a four-month course of physical therapy, Grajewski worked with Nass on spinal cord therapy and credited her knowledge, encouragement and positive approach with helping him make the most of his recovery.
Grajewski also highlighted the importance of having specialized physical therapy services available locally, noting that Nass’s care made a significant difference throughout his recovery.
“I was helped so much by Sydney’s expertise in Physical Therapy,” said Dr. Grajewski. “Having her expertise, kind direction and insight right here in Watertown is so critical.”
Nass’s combination of clinical skill, compassion and encouragement reflects the qualities the BEE Award celebrates.
