Your Guide to Labor, Birth, and Breastfeeding

Pregnancy is an exciting time and the birth and bringing home of a child should be a joyful experience. However, we understand that often times that excitement and joy go hand-in-hand with anxiety and fear, especially for first-timers. 

We'd love for you to join us for our FREE Labor, Birth, and Breastfeeding class, taught by our experienced labor and delivery nurses. With the proper guidance, education, and support, those anxieties can be relieved and you can become more confident in your abilities before, during, and after childbirth, helping get your baby off to the best start possible.

This class will focus on the basics of breastfeeding and the many benefits to your baby and you – including providing your baby nutrients, boosting your baby's immune system, and helping you bond with your baby.

El embarazo es un momento emocionante, el nacimiento y llevarse a su hijo/a a casa debería ser una experiencia alegre. Sin embargo, entendemos que hay veces esa emoción y alegría van de la mano con la ansiedad y el miedo, especialmente para padres primerizos.

Nos encantaría que te unieras a nuestra clase GRATUITA de labor de parto, nacimiento y lactancia materna, nuestras enfermeras expertas en partos enseñarán  la clase. Con la orientación, la educación y el apoyo adecuado, puedes disminuir esas ansiedades y tener más confianza en tus capacidades antes, durante y después del parto, ayudando a que tu bebé tenga el mejor comienzo posible.

Debido a los muchos beneficios de amamantar a tu bebé, como proporcionarle nutrientes, fortalecer su sistema inmunitario y fortalecer el vínculo con él, esta clase también se centrará en los fundamentos de la lactancia materna.

Whether this is your first pregnancy or you’ve had other children, you’ll find practical answers to many common questions in this class. The more you know about what is happening and what to expect next, the more confidently you can move through your pregnancy.

 
 

Breastfeeding Basics

Ready to learn how to successfully breastfeed your new baby? We’re here to help. Choosing to breastfeed is one of the best things you can do for your baby. At first, it may be a little overwhelming. Sure, breastfeeding is natural, but it’s also a learned skill. Practice, knowledge, and motivation are the keys to breastfeeding success. So try to be patient with yourself and always ask for help.

 
 

Your Labor and Birth Journey

This exciting new labor and birth course helps you prepare, build confidence, and have better outcomes – all from the safety and comfort of home. Some people find their pregnancy and labor to be easier than they had expected. Others may have more discomfort during pregnancy and experience a long and difficult labor. Preparing for your childbirth will help you find a sense of inner strength, regardless of whether your labor is short or long, easy or difficult.
