Emergencies don’t wait, but when they strike, you can feel confident in the Emergency Services at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Our Emergency Department is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment to meet your needs at all times.
Health issues –- from broken bones –- to chest pain - don't take nights and weekends off and neither does our quality care and treatment. If you are suffering from a major health emergency, head straight to Watertown Regional Medical Center. Our Emergency Department is open 24/7, 365 days/year and our board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nurses and technicians are standing by to treat your condition.

Common Emergency Conditions
The following are examples of life-threatening illnesses or injuries that warrant a trip to the Emergency Department. This is not a complete list of services we provide or a list of all conditions which require emergency attention. If you are in immediate need of medical attention, come to the Emergency Department right away.
- Major head trauma
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Chest or upper abdominal pain or pressure
- Fainting, sudden dizziness or weakness
- Changes in vision, difficulty speaking
- Confusion or changes in mental status
- Any sudden or severe pain
- Unusual abdominal pain
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea

Watertown Regional Medical Center received Chest Pain Center accreditation from the American College of Cardiology.
