Dr. Melissa Nehls is originally from Kenosha County and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She participated in the rural track at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health, spending her first two years in Madison and completing her medical degree in La Crosse. Being part of the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine, her goal was always to come back to a smaller community in her home state. She is excited to be in Watertown full-time and to provide the women of Watertown and the surrounding communities with full-spectrum OBGYN care.
Dr. Melissa Nehls
Dr. Jason McMaster, OB/GYN, was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. After spending time in the special forces of the Royal Army, he attended the oldest medical school in Europe, located in the Highlands of Scotland. He came to Wisconsin to complete his residency at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Since completing his OB/GYN fellowship in 2016, he’s split his time between Watertown and another facility in Michigan. Recently, Dr. McMaster chose to make WRMC’s Center for Women’s Health his home. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery and robotics.

Dr. Axelson is a provider who listens to her patients needs and works with them to provide a broad spectrum of women's health services. She was born in Southeastern Wisconsin and completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee. She is excited to be back in Wisconsin as a full-time OBGYN at the Center for Women's Health.
