About WRMC's General Surgery

The WRMC Division of General Surgery is comprised of two highly trained surgeons that are skilled in a wide range of surgical services and procedures. They offer an individualized approach in the management of complex surgical conditions of the breast, the digestive tract, including biliary surgery, surgical oncology including melanoma, hernia repair, and surgical management of colon cancer in addition to a variety of other procedures.

The surgeons at Watertown Regional Medical Center are leaders in the use of minimally invasive surgery, which means smaller incision size, less pain, minimal scarring and faster recovery times for our patients.

3D Mammography -  A new technology that can detect breast cancer earlier and up to 53% more often than traditional mammography. Every woman 40 and older should schedule a mammogram every 1 to 2 years.
