Walk with Women's Health Provider Karen Howard
May 1, 2018
Center for Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Karen Howard is partnering with Get Healthy Watertown to co-sponsor the “Walk on Saturday” program May 12th. The non-competitive, recreational walk begins at 9 am at Webster Elementary School, 634 S. 10th Street.
Karen will lead the walk and participants will have the opportunity to get some steps in while getting to know her and learning useful health tips. Participants can also ask Karen questions related to women’s health. With nearly 30 years of experience in women’s health, Karen provides expertise at all stages of life and enjoys helping women understand their healthcare needs.
Get Healthy Watertown hosts a free walk every Saturday at 9am throughout the year. From mid-April to mid-October, weekly walks are held outside within the city limits and include a 1, 2 or 3 mile walking route. From 20 different starting locations, the walks cover all areas of the city. The walks are sponsored by Get Healthy Watertown and are free to join. Detailed walking directions and maps are available.
